OBITUARY Betty Hollingsworth March 24, 1940 – December 10, 2018 Betty Hollingsworth, age 78, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 surrounded by family. Mrs. Hollingsworth was the rock of her family. She was a true southern belle and at the same time was strong, fearless and classy.

She was a true inspiration to so many on how to live, love unconditionally, forgive and how to be supportive to those we love no matter the circumstance. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Hollingsworth; daughter, Tammy Orgeron; sisters, Charlotte Ates, Debbie Ezell and Vearl; grandchildren, Richard Hale, Mary Grizzard and Tee, Andrea Arnold and Danny, Kacie Hale, Kelsey Hale, Andrew Hale and Adrienne, Abigayle Orgeron, Michelle McElroy and Stephanie Pinkowski; great grandchildren, Tyler Hale, Emily Hale, Ryan Arnold, Kristen Dunn, Teagan Grizzard, Fisher Grizzard, Kyra Sorenson, Adelyn Hale, Anniston Hale and Zoey Pinkowski; great-great grandchild, Ellie Ann Arnold.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edd and Leona Guin; grandson, Ronnie Hale; sons-in-law, Kenny Orgeron and William Hale. Visitation will be held at Ascension Baptist Church, 13432 Airline Highway, Gonzales, LA on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 9AM until service at 11AM. Interment will follow at Lusk Cemetery in Gonzales, LA.
