Betty Isabel Fisher, 91 of rural Polk died Monday December 17, 2018. She was born November 28, 1927 in Jackson Twp. the daughter of Samuel E. and Maude E. Plank Smith.

Betty lived her entire life on the family farm and was a 1947 graduate of Polk High School. She was a bookkeeper/secretary for Fisher Water Services and a member of the Polk Church of Christ, where she was the building fund treasurer for 50 years. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Fisher of Polk and Bobbi (Bob) Weaver of rural Jeromesville, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandsons.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert S. Fisher on January 22, 2014, a son, Dean A. Fisher on November 30, 2014, a sister, Maxine Long, her brother Donald Smith and an infant brother, George Smith. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday December 20, 2018 at Polk Church of Christ with Minister Ed Graves officiating. Burial will be in Polk Cemetery.

Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Polk Church of Christ 204 East Congress Street Polk, OH 44866.
