Betty Jane Pfeiffer D Mien , February 15, 1927 — February 18, 2019

Betty Jane Pfeiffer DeMien, 92, Macy, passed away at 6:18 a.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019, at her residence. Born February 15, 1927, in Nappanee, Indiana, she was the daughter of Clarence E. and Myrtle H. Morwiser Pfeiffer. Survivors include her three children, Rhonda J. (Bob) Otto, Fishers, Indiana; Brent L. (Pat) DeMien, Macy; and Jay E. DeMien, Florida; nine grandchildren, Andrew Rudd, Charity Davis, McKenzie (Trent) Shaffer, Erik (Jennifer) Otto, Ryan (Megan) DeMien, Loren (Joni) DeMien, Jessie Swafford, Brandy Swafford, and Amy Swafford; twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren; one sister, Joan (Bob) Tharp, South Bend; brother-in-law, Keith Miller, Elkhart; and sister-in-law, Marge Pfeiffer, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Rebecca A. Swafford; three brothers, Donald Pfeiffer, Gene Pfeiffer, and Lamar Pfeiffer; and three sisters, Marilyn Miller, Doris Grass, and Helen DeMien. Private family services will be held at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Phil Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester.
