The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Messer officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with her grandsons serving as active pallbearers.

Betty Jean Brock was born December 18, 1941 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of J.D. and Beulah Mae Giannars Brock. Betty Jean Brock Brackin, a high school graduate, was a care giver not only by nature, but also by profession. She was a Baptist by faith and attended Salem-Seminole Baptist Church.

One of her favorite things to do was catching a fish or two, but nothing come before spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Richard Bland, Sheila Bland Alday and her husband, Danny, and Tina Bland Roberts and her husband, Bubba, all of Donalsonville; her siblings, Danny Brock, Jimmy Brock, Johnny Brock, Ricky Brock, and Bobbie Jean Shiver all of Geneva, AL, Roy Bellflower of Louisville, KY and J.E. Bellflower of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Jeremy & Ginny Roberts, Jason & Courtney Roberts, Michael & Brittany Moncrief, Michelle & Michael Trim, Henry & Christina Williamson, Erica & Dee Broome, and Brian & Ashley Alday all of Donalsonville; and her great-grandchildren, Michael Trim, Micahela Trim, Konner Broome, Addlyn Williamson, Harrison Roberts, Emily Moncrief and Maddox Moncrief. Betty Jean Brock Brackin was preceded in death by her parents.
