After a life well lived, Betty went to her heavenly reward to be reunited with loved ones on April 7, 2018. She celebrated her 83rd birthday on November 9, 2017. She is survived by her sons, L.A. Shepherd, Phillip and wife Sue; grandsons, Larry and wife Charity, Jon and fiancée Rachel; granddaughter, Katie and husband Chad; great granddaughter, Valentina; great grandson, Madden; and sister, Pauline Clark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.A. Shepherd; her parents, R.V. and Jeanette… Read More » Allen; and twin sisters, Doris and Dorothy. Betty was a long time member of Midwest City First Baptist Church and taught at Del City High School. She was also an avid gardener and quilt maker.

Viewing will be 8AM-8PM Wednesday with formal visitation from 4PM-7PM at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home. A graveside service will be 10:30AM at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK.
