OBITUARY Betty L. Davis September 22, 1936 – December 3, 2018 Betty L. Davis, age 82, of Sherwood, passed away December 3, 2018. She was born September 22, 1936, in Criders, Virginia, to Roby and Ida Rebecca May. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Floyd Allen May and Alfred James May, and sister, Iva Coffman.

Betty was a homemaker, served as activity director of the NCO Wives Club and volunteered for the Red Cross at Little Rock AFB. Her hobbies included baking, gardening and working with ceramics. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Lee Davis, CMSGT USAF Retired; daughter, Sandra Lee (Terry) Collard of Sherwood; son, Curtis Lee (Kelly) Davis of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Shayna Collard of San Diego, California and T.J. Collard of Sherwood; one great-granddaughter, Amara Drake of San Diego; sister, Virginia Hill of Millington, Tennessee; and a brother, Delmas Alton May of Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Visitation is Thursday, December 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services on Friday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m., both at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills. Entombment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. To offer condolences and share memories of Betty with her family visit www.
