Obituary for Betty L Menge Print Betty Lane Menge, 86, a resident of Westlake, LA passed from this life on Friday, February 15, 2019 surrounded by her family. Betty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Her beloved family was the center of her life and was always there for them throughout their entire lives.

She will best be remembered for her strong-willed nature and ability to provide firm and Godly guidance to her family. She was referred to as a Master Gardener by her family and loved spending time with them in her back yard. As a Christian, she knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of Maplewood Church of Christ for many years.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Evin Hearn and Alice Deshotel Kelly, and her brothers, Bobby Ray Kelly and James Walker Kelly. Betty leaves to cherish her memory her five children, Michael G. Clark and wife Glenda, Johnny E. Clark, Alecia L. (Clark) Acosta, Belinda Escoubas and husband Douglas, and Taran Kohl and husband Eric, grandchildren: Stacie, Rolanda, Andrea, Bobby, Allison, Walter, Barbara, Monica Ann, Brandi, Jacob, Alyssa, and Abby, and nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South at 10:30 AM.
