Betty Marie (Danielsen) Benvenuto, 89, recently of East Brunswick, formerly of Cliffwood Beach, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5th at Sunrise Assisted Living of East Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas D. Benvenuto and her beloved son, Thomas W. Benvenuto. She is survived by her grandchildren, Daniel Benvenuto and his wife Lisa, their children Steven, Jaxson and Kaiden and her granddaughter Kathleen and Partner Colin.

Also surviving are Patricia Benvenuto, Daniel & Kathleen’s Mother, Thomas W’s wife Gail Caley, and Betty’s siblings Bert Danielsen and his wife Carol of Florida, Barbara Nelson of Staten Island, and Brian Danielsen of Manhattan, New York. Betty had many nieces and nephews from the Danielsen’s, and Benvenuto’s and was loved deeply by her ‘second family’ the Cohan’s. She will be remembered for her spirit, sense of humor and huge heart.

Those who met her couldn’t help but be drawn to her. She will be missed by many people. At the request of the family, Betty will be privately cremated.

A memorial service will be held in Betty’s Honor on Saturday May 11, 2019 from 1PM to 3PM. at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made made to Haven Hospice who loved and cared for her in her final weeks.
