Obituary for Betty Myrtice Harnage Butts Betty Lessie Myrtice Harnage Butts, age 76 of Chickamauga, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 31, 2018. She was born in Hahira, GA, has been a resident of Chickamauga for the past 4 yrs. and attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi Jackson and Lessie Lelia Fillyaw Harnage, 2 sisters and 1 brother, Betty is survived by her loving husband, of 60 yrs. , Lloyd Cecil Butts, children, Steve (Tammy) Butts, Kathy (John R.) Williams, Kerry (Sandra) Butts, Crystal (Doug) Human and Eden (Joey) Davis, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 4, 2018 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Barry Williams officiating. Entombment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and prior to the service on Friday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga.
