OBITUARY Betty S. Cleaver Gilbert August 3, 1927 – September 18, 2018 Betty S. (Renninger) Cleaver Gilbert, 91, previously of Gilbertsville, widow of Leroy Gilbert passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in the Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown, PA. Born in Congo, PA she was the daughter of the late Annie (Sweinhart) and Harry Renninger. She worked at Great American Knitting Mill, Bally in production.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sassamansville. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy J., wife of Russell H. Reigel of Allentown; three sons, Clifford W., husband of Nancy C. Cleaver of Barto, Robert R. Cleaver of Orefield and Allen J., husband of Linda M. Cleaver of Chester Springs; she is also survived by five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her first husband, Clifford R. Cleaver, a son, Matthew H. Cleaver in 1979, a grandson, Jay Reigel on June 6, 1994 and a great-granddaughter Brooke Cleaver.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Road, Sassamansville, PA. A viewing will be Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sassamansville, PA Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Road, P. O.
