Mrs. Betty Sauls Barden, 89 formerly of Augusta Hwy. , Lincolnton entered into rest on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at lake Crossing Health Care, Appling. Mrs. Barden, daughter of the late J. Hamp and Flossie Bell Harris Sirman, was born in Adel, Ga.

on February 22, 1930. She grew up in Valdosta and married the late Harris Barden on February 14, 1960. She had lived in Lincolnton most of her life and attended Martin’s Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church.

Her husband, Harris Barden passed away in 2014. She is survived by her son, Herbert E. “Gene” Sirman; daughters , Charlene S. Connoly and Joyeann NeSmith Gregory; and brother, William Charles Sirman. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 2pm at Martin’s Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church.

Her body will cremated following the funeral. The family will receive friends beginning at 1pm until the hour of the service at the church on Thursday. Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Ave.
