Obituary for Betty W. Wicklund Betty Wicklund was born February 26,1919 in Leavenworth, WA to Leroy and Augusta Lewis. She passed away on October 16, 2018 leaving a loving husband, Eric Wicklund,of Seattle. She was proceeded in death by her son, Kent Myhre and leaves behind a Brother, Don Lewis, Spokane, a daughter Arlene Lawrence, four grandchildren, Patrick and Eric Standley, Lance Myhre and Jolene Linton, three great grandchildren, Mitchell Myhre and Samantha and Lauren Linton.

Betty grew up in Spokane, graduating from North Central High School and Kinman Business University. She worked for KHQ TV for 8 years. She married Bud Westby in 1949 and worked with him in Wenatchee, WA to build a very successful General Motor dealership.

After his death she ran the dealership for one year, then sold and moved to Seattle. Betty fought MS for 70 years, working full time and determined not to slow her down. She will be buried at Wenatchee City cemetery on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 1pm at a grave side ceremony with Jones and Jones-Betts funeral home.
