Obituary of Betty Wilson Betty Ann McVey Wilson, 73, of Corbin passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at home. She was born May 6, 1945 in Girdler, KY. Betty was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church and the longtime owner and caretaker of the Terrell Cemetery in Wilton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson; Daughter, Cleda Earlene Parks; Parents, Daniel McVey and Cleda Hinkle McVey; and by a brother, Randell McVey. Betty is survived by her Grandchildren, Shaunna Lynn Parks and Franklin Adam Parks; Great Grandchildren, Alexis Danielle Gray, Elizabeth Star Earlene Turner, and Isabella Parks; Sisters, Danna Sue Durham and Mary Lynn Beverly; and by many other friends and family, including special niece Susanne Michelle Griffin. Funeral service for Betty Ann Wilson will be held at 2pm Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY, with Rev.

Mark McVey officiating. Burial will follow in the Terrell Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 6pm until 9pm and Tuesday from 12pm until 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
