Beulah Jarman Jenkins, of Kinston passed away peacefully at Vidant Palliative Care Center Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the age of 81. Beulah was born May 1, 1937 to Leslie and Laura Jarman. Beulah married Glen Jenkins of the Plantation of Jones County and they had two sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of almost 60 years and both sons Timmy Jenkins and Gene Jenkins, daughter-in-law Joann Jenkins and brother Darrell Jarman. Beulah is survived by her brother Jimmy Jarman and wife Gail of Kinston, grandson Lee Jenkins of Greensboro, granddaughter Jenna Jenkins and friend Brendan Kerlin of Boston Mass. , sisters-in-law Gertrude Jackson and husband Don and Mary Dysinger and many special nieces and nephews.

Beulah graduated from Grainger High School in 1955. She worked many years at Lenoir Tire Company in Kinston and then Brock Motor Company in Trenton until retirement. She was a very conscientious and loyal employee.

Beulah was a faithful member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her church family, her Sunday school class and her Senior Saints Group. She always looked forward to the Senior Saints trips and never missed one.

Visitation will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11:00am with Pastors Chris Truett and Bert Potter officiating with graveside to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
