Big Stone Gap/Wildcat Community VA Beulah Mae (Ryan) Vaughn 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (May 7th, 2019) at Holston Valley Medical Center. Beulah had many hobbies that she enjoyed. She loved sewing and making quilts for her grandchildren and family members.

She also enjoyed her flower gardens. Beulah loved her family deeply and really enjoyed when the whole family would gather around her home for special occasions. She was a devoted caregiver to her parents Rev.

Robert Henry Ryan and Virgie (Flores) Ryan and her brother Wayne Ryan. She retired from Norris Industries an accomplished asset to the company. She was a monthly contributor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and the Shriners Hospitals for children.

All of her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren will miss her and keep her love in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons; Anthony Scott Vaughn II, and Scottie Wayne Barnette Vaughn, one granddaughter, Christy Lynn Keaton; four brothers, and one sister. She is survived by Children; Albert Vaughn (Sue) of Duffield, David Vaughn (Casey) of Kingsport, Danny Vaughn of the home, Lisa Robinette (Lester) of Rogersville, Tony Vaughn of Big Stone Gap, Rachel Bowen (Lonnie) of Blackwater, Leslie McAlister (Randy) of Pennington Gap, her brother, James Ryan of Big Stone Gap, her sister, Bernice Cucura of Pennsylvania, twenty one grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and a host of close relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday (May 11th 2019) at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap, from 2-4 p.m. The celebration of Beulah’s life will be in the chapel with cousin Darrell Ryan as prayer leader, and speaker. The graveside committal will be held in the Ryan Family Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
