Cannon, 77, of Newark, Ohio died Saturday afternoon, May 25, 2019 at her home. Born August 12, 1941 in Newark, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Donald Leroy and Donna Jean (Van Atta) Cunningham. Mrs. Cannon was a homemaker and a former employee of Es Wire Company of Zanesville and the Cottage Restaurant of Hanover.

She was a very generous person and donated to many worthwhile charities over the years. Beverley enjoyed watching dirt track racing, especially when her husband or other family members were racing. She also enjoyed NASCAR and her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Surviving are three sons, Bobby (Colleen) Cannon, III, Danny (Becky) Cannon and Rick Cannon, all of Newark; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Also surviving are two sisters, Donelene (Earl) Patterson of St. Louisville, Ohio and Lois (Greg) Lybarger of Toboso, Ohio; one brother, Kenneth Eugene Cunningham of Sarasota, Florida and a sister in-law, Martha Cunningham of Philo, Ohio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert J. Cannon, Jr., whom she married March 12, 1960 and who died May 14, 2019 and a brother, Donald Cunningham, Jr. Calling hours will be 5pm to 8pm Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Irene Scaramazza officiating.

Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Interim Health Care Hospice, 900 Sharon Valley Road, Newark, Ohio 43055.
