Obituary for Beverly A. Holliday Beverly A. Holliday, age 73, of Rensselaer, Ind. , passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 in Lafayette, Indiana. Beverly was born in Fort Benning, Georgia on April 1, 1945, the daughter of the late Willard and Geraldine (Rude) Hilton.

Beverly graduated from Rensselaer High School, the Class of 1963. On July 1, 1966 in Rensselaer, Indiana, she married James D. Holliday, who survives. Beverly was retired from the Portage School Corporation where she worked as a cafeteria manager for 40 years, which she was very proud.

She had a passion for playing card games, Bingo and Scrabble with her friends. She loved fishing in Minnesota and more locally, on Lake Bruce. She enjoyed visiting casinos and going out to watch movies.

However, she mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. Beverly will be dearly missed by her loving husband, James; stepchildren, Glenda (Jerry Weinberg) Nannenga of North Judson, Ind. ; Sherry (Bill) Holbrook of Rensselaer, Ind.

; James (Tammy) Holliday of Brook, Ind. ; step-grandchildren, Staci (Tim) Barrett, Jaimee (Bob) Haan, Chris Nannenga, Jennifer (Dan) Yeager, Jessica (Robert) Linback, Brandon Holliday, brothers and sisters, Barb Rowe of Medaryville, Ind. , Willard Hilton and Lindy (Kim) Eaton, both of Rensselaer, Ind.

, Robert (Roxie) Hilton of Kewanna, Ind. , and Nine step-great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, one step-grandson, Justin Holbrook and one infant brother, Freddie Conley.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 3:00 – 7:00PM, at Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 10:30AM at Jackson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Elizabeth Hartmann officiating.
