Beverly Foge passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2019. She was a life long resident of San Luis Obispo. Her outgoing and caring personality endeared her to everyone she met.

Her love and enjoyment of life were infectious and she will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. Beverly is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Richard; her daughter Jill Barnier (Bob); and son Douglas; three grandsons; Richard, Stephen, and Mark; and granddaughter Andrea; five great grandchildren; her sister Carolyn Olsen (Larry); and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her son Donald.

Born to Robert and Doris Pennington, Beverly attended Fremont elementary, met the love of her life in San Luis Jr. High, and graduated from San Luis Obispo Senior High. She attended secretarial school in Los Angeles and after all her children were in school she worked as a school secretary. She hosted many a party during their 40+year membership with the Cal Shasta club making countless memories at the Nacimiento Lake cabin she and Richard built from the ground up.

In retirement, she and Richard enjoyed traveling and visiting distant friends and family. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, always reaching out to show her love and support with interest and encouragement. Her greatest joy was having family and friends around her.
