Beverly Decker May 04, 1929 – May 08, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Beverly Decker, age 90, of Shelbina, Missouri, passed away May 8, 2019 at the Salt River Community Care Center in Shelbina, Missouri. She was born on May 4, 1929, in Shelby County, Missouri, the daughter of Maut Vernie and Blanche B. (Tarbet) Bilyeu. She was united in marriage to Virgil Lee Decker on October 24, 1946 in Paris, Missouri.

He preceded her in death on August 18, 2013. Beverly attended Shelbyville High School. She lived on the family farm for 47 years in Monroe County.

She was a member of the Shelbina First Christian Church and the 49er’s Club of Shelbina. She enjoyed playing games, especially golf and cards. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her one daughter, Starla Richards and husband Tony of Cairo, Missouri; two daughters-in-law, Sue Decker of Clinton, Missouri, and Lori Decker of Shelbina, Missouri; grandchildren, Michael Decker and wife Kathleen of Mauldin, South Carolina, Matt Decker and wife Emily of Tyrane, Pennsylvania, Chris Richards and friend Sherry Green of Warrensburg, Missouri, Julie Williams and husband Jason of Platte City, Missouri, Camilla Decker of Shelbina, Missouri, and Ethan Decker of Shelbina, Missouri; and great grandchildren, Benjamin, Samantha, Rachel, Jacob, and Amelia Decker. . She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Dennis Eugene Decker and Alan Lee Decker; one grandson, Adam Lee Decker; five sisters, Pansa Pendleton, Faye Mann, Catherine Johnston, Dotty LeFevre, and Montie Williams; and two brothers, Clyde Bilyeu and Eddie Bilyeu.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11 am at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, Missouri. A visitation will precede the service starting at 9 am. Interment will be held at the Shelbina Mausoleum #2, in Shelbina, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the Shelbina First Christian Church or Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
