OBITUARY Bill Bearden Sr. October 2, 1937 – July 14, 2018 Bill Bearden, Sr., 80, of Batesville, formerly of Alma, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018. He was born October 2, 1937 in Kingston to the late Curtis and Mattie Bearden. He was a machine operator for Franklin Electric.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Wilma McDonald. He is survived by Wilma’s son, Rick McDonald and his wife Enola of Alma; and their children, Whitney and Kyle McDonald. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 at Antioch Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Mr. Bearden will lie in state from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
