Bill L. Osborne, 88, passed away on April 25, 2018. He was born March 11, 1930 to parents Mark and Lesca “Kate” Osborne. Bill attended Lincoln grade school and South High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years during the Korean War aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Siboney. Bill was employed with the Prudential Insurance Co., retiring in 1993 with 35 years of service Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lorne (Vera) Sallings and Carl D. (Rachel) Osborne; sisters, Ruth (Dale) Ritzman and Helen (Robert) Phillips; nephew, Robert Ritzman; and baby granddaughter, Anne Elizabeth Bramley. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elaine (nee Dunphy); sons, Mark (Lori), Greg (Debbie), William (Theresa) and Michael (Amanda); daughters, Valerie (Martin) Rego, Kathleen (William) Rex; grandchildren, Allison and Ethan Osborne, Rachel (Steven) Haswell, Emily Rego, Matthew and Mark Bramley, Renn Osborne, and Ryan (Nicole) Osborne, William and Sarah Osborne; great-granddaughters, Brooklyn Grace Osborne and Addison Osborne; great-grandson, Gavin Haswell; nieces, Nancy (Tom) Smith, Linda (Tony) Lucchese, Dianne and Teri Philips, Sandy (Glen) Arthur; and other family, Barbara Ritzman.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home 3326 Manchester Rd. on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m., with service beginning at 1 p.m., Father Norman Douglas officiating. Interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
