William Ray Morton, Bill was born in Linton, IN Sep. t 2, 1943 and died in Puyallup, WA Dec. 1, 2018.

Bill moved to Enumclaw, WA in the late 60’s after an honorable discharge from the US Army as a helicopter pilot. He met and married Patty Argo Aug. 24, 1974.

Bill work for Weyerhaeuser as a scaler and he later was employed by The Boing Co as a draftsman until the big layoff. He went to trucking school and got his license as a long-haul driver, where he retired as a teamster. Bill was a member of Mountain Thunder Radio Club, Rhodesian Ridgeback Dog Club and the Wilkeson Eagles.

He had many interests including archery, CB radios, marshalarts and in later life playing his guitars. Bill never met a dog he didn’t love; his best friend was his Australian Shepherd named Bo. You would see Bill around town riding his 69 orange Harley Davidson.

He is survived by his wife, Patty of 44 years; step-daughter, Susan Hanson of Lacey; 4 sons of Indiana Larry, Brian, Steve & Les. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters Kallie Ray & Cassie. He is preceded in death by step-daughter, Cindy Argo in 1978.

He will be cremated and inurned in Indiana.
