Bill Russell Jr. December 10, 1947 – February 25, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Bill Russell Jr., son of the late William Russell and Zid Smith Russell was born December 10th, 1947 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. He was united in holy matrimony to Mary Susan Baze on February 7th, 1969. Bill was proud to have served 21 years in the United States Air Force, as a Civil Engineer.

After he retired from the Air Force, he found a dream job at Methodist Hospital in the Maintenance Department. Bill was a beloved handyman and excelled at wood carving. He enjoyed all fellowship with his brothers and sisters in Christ.

Bill passed away unexpectedly on February 25th, 2019 at William Beaumont Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Bill is survived by wife, Sue; daughter Eva (Tony) Nebelsick; granddaughter Andrea (David) Penka; grandson Evan Nebelsick; great-grandson, Luke Penka; great-granddaughter, Elena Penka; sister Juanita (Leon) Oster; sister Joy Duke, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. A memorial service for Bill will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at Christ Community Church.

The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the Hamilton-O’Dell Funeral Home to conduct the services.
