Bill Witt Bailey, 48, of Dillwyn entered into the arms of Jesus on September 28, 2018. He was born August 27, 1970 in Charlottesville, a son of Louise Call Bailey and the late Jack Dempsey Bailey, Sr. Bill was a jack of all trades and used his talents in many ways. He also loved to hunt, fish and working in his flowers.

Dr. Pepper was his favorite drink and Dallas Cowboys was his favorite team and he was fiercely loyal to both. In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his fiancé, Dianne Brown; daughter, Rebekah Ashlee Bailey; two sons, Joshua Wayne Bailey and Travis Jamerson; two sisters, Lisa B. Elgin and Brenda West; brother, Jack Dempsey Bailey, Jr.; grandson, Lucas Ayres; stepdaughters, Shirley Swann, Tammy Swann and Kayla Brown; stepsons, Thomas Brown and Glenn Patterson and his best friend Buck Goode. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn with interment in the Buckingham Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday form 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
