Mr. Ballard was born in Castleberry, and had been a lifetime member of the community where he worked as a fabricator in the window production industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milt and Elvia Downing Ballard; brother, Earl Ballard; sister, Betty Rowell, and son-in-law, Joe Bordayo, Sr

Mr. Ballard was of the Holiness faith. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Ballard of Appleton, AL; daughters, Wanda B. Bordayo of Brewton, AL, and Annette (Farris) Kelley of Appleton, AL; brothers, Bobby Ray Ballard of Castleberry, AL, and Mitchell Ballard of Repton, AL; sisters, Ellen Wilcox of Castleberry, AL, Myrna Bailey of Birmingham, AL, Patricia Baggett of Repton, AL, Peggy Johnson of Belleville, AL, Judy Gray of Castleberry, AL, Becky Davidson of Castleberry, AL; grandchildren, John (Jessica) Bordayo, Tyrone Kelley, Elizabeth (Dustin) Evans; great-grandchildren, Bryant Bordayo and Caden Bordayo. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Craver’s Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 10 A.M. until an 11 A.M. service time with Bro.
