Billy E. Davis 87 of Ashland passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Boyd County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 5, 1930 at North Kenova, Ohio, a son of the late Charles F. and Katherine Riel Davis. Billy was predeceased by four brothers; Charles William, George C, Robert Lee and Carl Richard Davis; and five sisters: Rose Weser, Mary Young, Hazel Elliott, Charlotte Norris and Ann Barnett and his wife of 60 years- Betty J. Perez.

Davis (Janet), of Chesapeake, OH; grandchildren Jennifer Musser White (Mark) of North Wales, PA; Robert Matthew Musser (Brandie) of Rush, Scott David Musser (Julie Ferguson) of Jacksonville, FL; Shannon Michael Davis (Maggie) of Denver, CO, Caleb Nathaniel Davis of Florida, Braiden Isaiah Davis of Rush, Ashley Burgin (Michael) of Maiden, NC and Duane Lee Evans of Chesapeake, OH; Great grandsons Billy Edwin White, Justin Smith (Morgan Mitchell; Hayden, Paxton and Langston Burgin and Deagan Evans; great Granddaughters Kayla Smith (Nick Branham), Lexi Smith and Kami Carr; Great Great granddaughters Emma Smith, Raydan Maynard and Bailyn Ray; Great great grandson Nixon Branham; along with a host of extended family and friends. Billy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force after graduation. He was employed at Nitrogen Division of Allied Chemical in South Point, Ohio and ARMCO Steel in Ashland.

He retired from Calgon Corporation in Burnaugh in 1992 after 32 years of service. He was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church Funeral services will be 12:00 Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood with Pastor Ed Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 4950 Williams Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101 or Community Hospice 1480 Carter Ave, Ashland, KY 41101. Online condolence may be left at www.
