Age 92, of Pittsburgh, on Thursday October 25, 2018 at the home of his son, Jeffrey Scott Toney and daughter in law Daisy Luanne Toney. Born July 19, 1926 in Huntington, WV, the son of the late Roy and Gladye Toney. He served honorably in the Army and Marines during WWII and then spent 36 years working for the Herald Dispatch newspaper in Huntington, WV as a linotype operator.

A loving husband and father who enjoyed family, sports and cars. Bill was the dear husband of Laura Belle Toney and besides his son and daughter in law, is also survived by five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Daniel Craig Toney and sisters Virginia Maynard, Viola Miller and Dorothy Bowen.

Family and friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Road Mt. Lebanon on Sunday 2-4 PM. Service in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project 301 Grant St. Suite 900 Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
