Billy Gene Vaughn was born September 9, 1932 in Paris Texas. He was the son of Charlie and Dora (Garman) Cochron. Billy married Wanda Sanders December 7,1951 in Weatherford, Texas.

He worked for Lennox Heating and Air Conditioning for many years and later worked maintanance for the Jacksboro Independent School District. Billy was also a member of the Joplin Masonic Lodge 939. He passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 in Jacksboro,Texas at the age of 86 years old.

He is survived today by his wife, Wanda Lee Vaughn; daughters, Brenda Rutledge and husband Bill of Perrin, Texas; Kathy Booth and husband Gary of Rhome; Fran Self and husband Terry or Perrin, Texas; son, Randy Vaughn and wife Tammy of Joplin,Texas; sisters, Charlene Miller of Jay, Florida; Edna Deakley of Alaska; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
