He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bishop Mike gave his life to God at the age of 17 in a small Pentecostal church in Jackson, Michigan.

After a year of secular university studies, he felt the call of God to pursue the ministry. In 1971 he graduated from Aenon Bible College where he met and married Denise Sharon Foster. After graduation they moved back to Jackson and he pursued Psychological studies.

He completed that course of study in 1973 and he then entered the field of Human Res. In 1978 he relocated his family to Grand Rapids to work in HR management. For several years he also served as lay minister and assistant pastor in his local church.

He was later recruited by the HR department of Amway Corporation in Ada, Michigan and continued there until the call of God became so insistent that he resigned his position to pursue fulltime ministry. He was contacted by Christ Temple Church to fill their pulpit in 1985. While Pastoring CTGM he has served on many community boards.

He has ministered in 18 foreign countries and, after being elevated to the bishopric in 2002, served as the Regional Director of missions to Latin America and the Caribbean for over 12 years. He currently provides Apostolic covering for several ministries in the United States and abroad. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Denise Millben; one son, Stephen (Miranda) Millben; two daughters, Kizmin (Travis) Jones and Brittany (Harry) Pickett; one brother, Archie (Pamela) Millben; one sister, Cassandra (David) Roberts; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, two brothers-in-love, dear friends and church family.
