Blake Eric “Bubba” Schroder was born June 23, 1995, to Brian and Amanda (Van Dusseldorp) Schroder in Pella. He passed away on December 9, 2018. Bubba grew up in Pella and was a 2013 graduate of Pella Community High School.

He got his Associate’s Degree in Agribusiness from DMACC and was currently employed at NuMark Buildings Company. Bubs was a total outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, ice fishing, and trapping. He also enjoyed spending time on the lake boating and jet-skiing.

Bubba was an animal lover too; as he would randomly show up with goats, cows, chickens, and even potbellied pigs! Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Brian and Amanda Schroder; his siblings: Mackenzie (Mitchell), Remington, and Zaide; his niece Hayden Jo; his grandparents Brad and Marsha Van Dusseldorp, Bob Schroder and Shelly Sample, and Beth and Aaron Fletcher; his great-grandmothers: Edie Pope and Sally Allee; his aunts and uncles: Melissa(Jeff) Van Dusseldorp, Brent and Stacey Schroder, Brad and Natalie Schroder, and Kelly Goodyk-Schroder; his cousins: Kolbie, Sidnie, River, Bri (Josh), and Spencer (Taylor); his girlfriend, Kelli “Uber” Brackney, and his dog, Cali Girl. Bubba knew no stranger, with a heart bigger than he was, all were held close.

Bubs will be forever missed by his family, friends, and all who had an opportunity to get to know him. Bubs, a young man who wore many hats.
