Preceded in death by parents Robert Raymond Wylie and Marion Bloom Wylie, one sister, Eleanor Wylie Haines. Survived by wife of 65 years, Belle Hubbard Wylie.

Daughters Robin Wylie Higgins, Auburntown TN, Jody Wylie, Old Hickory TN and Wendy (Bill) Piper of Lebanon TN. One granddaughter, Molly Piper, sister Marcella Johnson, Sarasota FL. , numerous nieces and nephews, and beloved dog Wally.

Bob graduated from Carnegie High School and entered the military in 1948, US Navy Seabees, Battlion 2, Steelworker 2nd class. He was stationed at Little Creek Naval Air Station in Norfolk VA and served till 1952. He was hired as an agent for Piedmont Airlines in 1955 in Norfolk Va, transferring in 1969 to Nashville TN.

He retired in 1993, moving to a country home in Auburn KY. He was a member of Pearce United Methodist church in Auburn KY and was an active choir member until his battle with COPD silenced his deep bass voice. He was also a member of the American Legion, enjoyed golf, classic cars and woodworking.

There will be no services and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion, Post 258, Auburn KY.
