Roberta L. “Bobbi” Tansey of Grand Ledge passed away March 29, 2019 in Lansing. Bobbi was a loving sister, aunt and friend who will be missed for her great sense of humor and enthusiasm for life. She was born March 18, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Robert L. and Barbara Jo (Johnson) Tansey.

Bobbi graduated from Grand Ledge High School Class of 1969 and went on to receive her Associate’s Degree. She worked at Grand Ledge Meijer and was a huge Michigan State Spartan Fan – Go Green! Bobbi is survived by siblings, Jon (Terrilyn) Tansey, Sheila Tansey Johnson and Peg (Dan) McLeod; nieces and nephews, Kym (Kevin) Davis, Krysti (Jake) Anderson, Dayle McLeod, Peri McLeod, Tyler (Rachelle) Wilton and Clay (Eila) Wilton; 5 great nephews; Aunt Jean Tansey along with many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Kaylilyn Sue Tansey. A celebration of Bobbi’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Avenue, Lansing, Michigan 48906 or Grand Ledge Emergency Assistance Program (GLEAP), P.O. Box 402, Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837.
