Obituary for Bobby Dan Sides Bobby Dan Sides passed away Sunday December 2, 2018. Services will be graveside Friday December 7, 2018 in Rest Haven Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., a visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home Thursday Evening from 5-7:00 p.m. Bobby was born November 9, 1958 in San Angelo, Texas, to Joe Dan and Shirley Sides. He married Della Nobles on April 19, 2005.

Bobby was a hard-working loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle and friend. He was a Fire Chief for the volunteer fire department in Rankin, Texas, and proud of his achievement of being an Eagle Scout. Bobby was hard working, loved to fish and hunt, but his greatest joy was family.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor and strength with which he met life and death without fear, no give in and no give up. Bobby is survived by his wife Della of Millersview, Texas, 2 sons; Cory Sides of Crane, Texas, and Clay Sides and wife Lisa of Ogden, Utah, and 1 daughter Amber Sommerfeld and husband Robert of Crane;1 brother Billy Sides and wife Tonya of Abilene, Texas and 1 sister Carla Sides Miller and husband Buck of Menard. Also 5 grandchildren; Bobby James, Blane, Joey, Rylee and Bailey.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joe Dan and Shirley Sides.
