Bobby Lee Scott, age 84 of Tazewell, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Claiborne Medical Center. Bobby was born in Harlan, Kentucky on November 30, 1933 in John Byrd Scott Sr. and Vina Ellen Goode Scott. Bobby enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Gaynell “Gay” Scott, sisters: Jewell Sells, Trish Waldron, Trene Cain, Ruby Scott, and brothers: Morris and Reuben Scott. Survivors: Children Mary Kidd and Kenny of Cumberland Gap Ruby Laws and Danny of Harrogate Delina Gulley of Tazewell Bobby G. Scott and Neida of Brownsburg, IN Sisters Mae Cain Orpha Pendrey Brothers Ira Scott Pete Scott Gene Scott Buddy Scott 6 Grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren Visitation: 1:00 to 2:30 PM, Monday, November 19, 2018 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City. Funeral Service: 2:30 PM, Monday, November 19, 2018 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donnie Bannister officiating.
A graveside service will take place following funeral service at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Clinton, Tennessee.
