Bonnie Freier-Hopp, 75, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home. Born in Lombard, Illinois on January 14, 1943, she was the daughter of James and Gladys (nee Merz) Freier. She spent her early life in Addison, Illinois where she graduated from Addison Trail High School.

On September 1, 1991 in Salem, Wisconsin she was united in marriage to Larry Hopp. Following marriage, they continued to make their home in Salem, before moving to Adams Friendship, Wisconsin for 4 years. … Read More » They later moved back to Paddock Lake.

Bonnie worked as a store clerk for Drakes. She retired from Sun Electronics where she did accounting, and also worked as a waitress for many years. Bonnie loved fishing, shopping, antiquing, attending auctions and doing crafts.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Michael (Alyce) Marvell and Melissa (Mark) Hakes; step-children, Steve (Darlene) Hopp and Laurie (Rob) Weese; grandchildren, Sam, Lauren and EmmaLea Marvell, Ben and Brycen Hakes, Julia, Lauren and Gabrielle Hopp, and Connor, Nathan and Garrett Weese; siblings, David (Linda) Freier, Valerie (Randy) Hakes and Melanie (Howard) Iverson. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jimmy Freier. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society.
