Obituary for Mrs. Bonnie Kay Johnson Johnson, Bonnie Kay (Burton) Age 69 of New Brighton, MN passed away in her home on Oct. 5, 2018 after battling idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Bonnie was born Dec.

11, 1948 and raised in Robbinsdale, MN where she graduated high school in 1966. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the U of M where she met her husband Stephen. The majority of Bonnie’s career was focused on court reporting as well as teaching business administration classes.

She and Stephen raised their children in St. Anthony, MN where she was an active parent and community member. Bonnie enjoyed traveling, walking with friends, attending Broadway musicals, playing the piano, and watching movies & TV shows (especially suspenseful legal dramas). She will be deeply missed by husband Stephen, daughter Tracy, and son Rex (daughter in-law Janette), as well as several brothers/sisters in-law, cousins, nieces & nephews, and dear friends.

Preceded in death by parents Horace and Helen, brother Duey, and sister Janna. Memorial service will be held on Sat. Oct.

27, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, 4512 France Ave. N., Robbinsdale. Visiting time begins at 10 am, service at 11 am, and luncheon following.
