Brenda Creasy Moore, 73, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018. She was born on September 20, 1945 to the late John Sullivan Creasy and Elsie Worsham Creasy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Christine C. Hodges, Evelyn C. Bailey, Deatra Lou Creasy, Mary Ann C. Smith, and Diana Kay Creasy; and brothers, Frank H. Creasy and Charles Michael Creasy.

Moore of the residence; two daughters, Hope Moore and significant other Jerry Perdue of Martinsville, VA and Michelle Ashworth and husband Jimmy of Axton, VA; sister, Lucille C. Taylor of Martinsville, VA; brother, John Wayne Creasy of Axton, VA; and grandchildren, Lane Ashworth and Carlee Ashworth. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Eggleston Family Cemetery, 2731 Dyer Store Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112 with Minister Lee Ashley officiating. A visitation will be held at the graveside from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the family residence at 1058 Dyer Store Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112. In lieu of flowers, memory donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101.
