Brenda Deneault, age 66, of Concordia, KS, passed away, Thursday January 17, 2019 at her home after battling lung cancer. She was born June 5, 1952 in Concordia, KS to Levi and Dolores Deneault, in Concordia, KS. She attended Concordia Rural School and Notre Dame Catholic Schools until the 7th Grade where she attended Concordia High School and graduated in 1970.

In 1997 Brenda fulfilled a life-long dream of attending school for Cosmetology at Salina Academy for Hair Design, where she graduated with honors in 1998. Brenda married Dave Clark August 27, 1971 and raised 3 Children together, Kathy Hart (Bill), Lee Clark (Andrea), Dana Brooks (Cliff). July 28 1999 Brenda married Terry Strait (dec.

), and divorced several years later. Brenda is survived by her three children, Kathy Hart (Bill), Concordia; Lee Clark, Asheboro, NC; Dana Brooks (Cliff), Lake Charles, LA. Her nine grandchildren: Gage Detschermitsch, Olivia Hart, Eden Hart ; Josiah Clark, Hannah Clark, Malachi Clark; Taaron Snyder, Kaden Snyder, Jayce Snyder.

Her mother Dolores Deneault; brothers and sisters: Sam Deneault (Linda), Allen, TX; Deanna Link (Jerry); Delphos , KS; Jolene Crotinger (Rod), Concordia, KS; Don Deneault (Janette), Concordia, KS, Galen Deneault (Debbie), Concordia, KS. Brenda was preceded in death by her father Levi Deneault, nephew Jesse Larkins, a granddaughter Karsten Begnoche and husband Terry Strait. Brenda was a lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion Auxiliary, Member Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and OLPH Alter Society.

She was a former member of the Moose Lodge. Brenda owned and operated Brenda’s Boutique, Brenda’s Second Look, and Brenda’s Cuts and Styles. Brenda loved her visiting with her friends and family, crocheting, dancing and helping anyone in need.

She cheered on the Green bay Packers. Visitation will be Monday January 21, 2019 at Nutter Mortuary from 1:00PM – 8:00PM. Vigil Service and Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:00PM at the mortuary.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday January 22, 2019 at 10:30AM. At our Lady of Perpetual Help with Father David Metz as Celebrant. Interment will be at St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery.
