Vonderhide, 68, of Du Quoin, passed away at 1:30 P.M., Monday, January 28, 2019 at her residence. Brenda had been a dietary aide at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was born September 11, 1950 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Lloyd and Wilma (Longshore) Watts. She married Ted L. Vonderhide on September 20, 1969 at Du Quoin, IL and he survives. She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, three children – Brad Vonderhide, Jennifer Vonderhide and Jeremy Vonderhide and wife Jodi, all of Du Quoin, two grandchildren – Colten Harris and Garret Vonderhide, both of Du Quoin, three brothers – Warren Watts of Du Quoin, Lloyd Watts and wife Joan of Elkville, and Paul Allen Watts and wife Milly of Tamaroa, one sister – Marsha Watts of Du Quoin, one sister-in-law – Pamela Hester and husband Frank of Dowell and special friend – Patty Moore of Du Quoin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters – Rosemund Watts and Judith Voyles, and one sister-in-law – Sheila Watts. Memorial services will be at 3:00 P.M., Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Paul Ritter officiating.

Friends may call from 2 P.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
