Obituary for Mrs. Brenda Johnson Brenda Johnson was born on June 29. 1951 to Ruby and Booker Chappell in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a former court reporter for the State Building for many years.

Brenda enjoyed playing board games, gambling, playing Bid Whist, spending time with her grandchildren, watching Perry Mason, Mattock and Andy Griffin shows, reading her scriptures every morning and traveling. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. Brenda was a beloved mother of Charita and Charles, a cherished grandmother of Marche Johnson, Chamar Johnson, Bethaina Stubbs and Melvin Stubbs Jr., a dear great grandmother of Amara Willis and a loving sister of Kathy Battle and Deborah McDonall.
