Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.

Brenda was born in Geneseo, IL, on March 14, 1961, daughter of Donald Whan and Barbara Johnson-Loveall. On September 2, 1983, in Henry County, IL, she married Clifford Garwood, who survives. Brenda enjoyed online auctions, playing with her dogs, motorcycling with her husband, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Clifford, survivors include her daughters, Lacey (Felix Binion) Garwood of Rock Island, Jami O’Neil of Bettendorf, IA, Makayla Garwood of Moline, and Shayna (Gabriel) Vazquez of Rock Island; her son, Daniel Garwood of Davenport, IA; her sister, Deborah Gibson of Chicago, IL; twenty-three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father.
