Brendan K. Downey, 20, of Canonsburg, died Monday, January 7, 2019. He was born July 30, 1998; a son of David R. and Renee L. (Repoff) Downey of Albuquerque, NM. Brendan was a graduate of Canon McMillian High School class of 2016.

He worked for Sheetz as a retail associate, in McMurray. Brendan was an avid gamer. He also enjoyed hiking.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Samson J. Downey of NM; maternal grandparents, Terry and Phillip (the late, Antonitte) Repoff of McDonald; paternal grandparents, Patricia and Vernon Kleinschmidt of Pearl City, HI; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave. , McDonald.
