OBITUARY Brett Kenyon Binford April 9, 1989 – December 11, 2018 On Tuesday, December 11th, 2018 we lost a dear son, brother, uncle, and friend. Brett was born April 9, 1989 to Dan and Desiree Binford. Brett had the gift of light.

He was able to make anyone he met in life feel like his best friend immediately. He brought so much joy to everyone around him through that bright, contagious smile. He brought so much love to our lives through his selfless examples of service.

His roaring laugh will ring in our hearts forever. Brett had intelligence well beyond his years and he always loved to learn new things. He attended Skyline High School where he was an outstanding athlete.

He later graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in accounting. He was a proud Eagle Scout and served as an amazing missionary in the Manchester, New Hampshire mission. The outdoors were his home, he felt truly at peace there and owned the mountain, skiing or hiking.

Brett was extremely talented in everything he pursued and always up for a challenge. He loved to travel and saw the world. He loved to immerse himself in new cultures and held everyone as equals, judging noone and holding each of us in his enormous hugs.

He will be welcomed home by the open arms of his loving Heavenly Father. Brett is survived and will be missed dearly by his parents Dan and Desiree Binford, his siblings Danielle (Steven), Madison (Benjamin), Michael, Briggs, Kate, his favorite nephew Liam, nieces Eliza and Rylie and his best dog Nike. He also leaves his maternal grandpa, Stuart Ronald Davis; and his paternal grandma, Gloria Anne Binford.

He is also survived by his love Myckenzie Bottomly, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, and many loving friends. Brett is preceded in death by his Grandad, Robert Keith Binford, and Grandma, Thora Dorothy Davis. The viewing will be held Friday December 14, from 10-1 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building on 4176 Adonis Dr. (3950 E.) with Funeral Services at 1:00 PM.

Brett will be laid to rest at Wasatch Lawn Memorial, all are invited to attend.
