Brett L. Bennett, age 54, of Glenmont, Ohio passed away suddenly at his home, Wednesday evening, May 15, 2019. A celebration of life gathering will take place Saturday, June 1st from 2 to 4 p.m. at 202 Garland Street, Glenmont, Ohio where Military Rites will be conducted by the Killbuck VFW. alexanderfhinc.com. Brett was born March 23, 1965 in Newark, Ohio and was the son of Robert and Nancy (Gerberich) Bennett. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1984 to 1998.

Brett enjoyed playing computer games, woodworking, golfing and going camping. He is survived by his daughter, McCaelin Bennett of Clayton, North Carolina; his companion, Christine (Purdy) Bosley and her son, Zachary Bosley of Glenmont; his sister, Victoria (Ed) Hynes of Georgetown, Mississippi; two nieces, Raevin and Christina; aunt, Sarah Sensaugh of Newark, Ohio; cousins, Mitch (Kim) Koenig of Millersburg, Nick Sensaugh and numerous other cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
