Brian Bernard “BJ” Wallace, Jr. April 20, 2000 – February 15, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Brian Bernard “BJ” Wallace, Jr. age 18, of Pompano Beach, Florida. passed away suddenly on Friday, February 15, 2019 at North Broward Medical Center. BJ, as he was known by was born to Brian B. Wallace, Jr. and Oneshi L. Williams-Blue on April 20, 2000 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
A beautiful bouncing baby boy full of love and energy. BJ attended Broward County Public Schools graduating with the Class of 2018 of Blanche Ely High School, where he was a member of the Blanche Ely High School Junior Varsity and Varsity Tiger football team. He also was a member of the R.O.T.C.
club. BJ was a member of the Junior Florida Morticians Association where he met many of friends and mentors. BJ loved the Lord and was reared in church by his grandparents.
He was later baptized as an infant at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, Florida. He loved football, basketball and playing video games with his cousins and friends. BJ also loved going fishing on the boat with his grandfather.
A model child, BJ was. He always was a respectful young man to all that knew him. BJ will be sorely missed and his spirit of togetherness will forever be cherished.
BJ leaves to mourn his passing his parents; his mother; Oneishi L. (Lewis) Blue, of Coconut Creek, Florida. ; his father; Brian B. (Shayla) Wallace, Sr. of Pompano Beach, Florida. Four brothers; Quincy M. Allen, of Pompano Beach, Florida.
; Mayjor L. Blue, of Coconut Creek, Florida. ; Ryan K. Wallace and Zane K. Wallace, both of Pompano Beach, Florida. Three sisters; O’nesty D. Blue, Amelia S. Blue and Olivia S. Blue, all of Coconut Creek, Florida.
BJ’s maternal grandparents; Gwendolyn Moss, of Pompano Beach, Florida. and George Glover, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. BJ’s paternal grandparents; Valerie L. (Timothy E.) Lang- Kitchens, of Delray Beach, Florida.
; Ezell (Jannie) Wallace, Sr. of Sanford, Florida. Maternal great-grandparents; Joan Williams and John T. Moss, both of Pompano Beach, Florida. Paternal grandparents; Melba Jean (Reynolds) Blue, of Pompano Beach, Florida.
BJ’s is surrounded by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many other sorrowing relatives and friends. BJ life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Jesus Supernatural Church, located at 700 Northwest 21st Avenue, Pompano Beach, Florida. BJ’s family will receive friends on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6p.m. until 9p.m. at the church mentioned above. BJ will rest at Pompano Beach Cemetery, Pompano Beach, Florida.
