Britton Evan Wilson, age 20, died Monday, February 18, 2019 in St. George, Utah. He was born September 17, 1998 in St. George to Jaydel Evan and Marshelle Murdock Wilson. He weighed 9 lbs.

12 oz. when he was born. Britton spent most of his childhood in Mesquite, Nevada where he graduated with Honors from Virgin Valley High School.

He enjoyed athletics in high school, playing football, basketball, track, and golf. He earned his Eagle Scout award which set an example for his brothers to follow in his footsteps. Britton also earned the Denali Award which is the highest award given in Varsity Scouts.

He served an LDS Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Mexico City North Mission. He recently moved to St. George to attend DXATC where he was pursuing a career as an EMT. Britton was a hard worker.

He enjoyed working outside and working with his hands. He loved being outdoors, especially when it came to shooting and hunting. Britton loved to go to the lake and wakeboard with his family.

He loved to serve others and was always willing to help. Britton had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He loved his cousins and especially enjoyed spending time with the littlest ones.

Survivors include his parents: Jaydel and Marshelle; younger siblings: Dylan, Abbie and Connor all of Mesquite, NV; grandparents, Evan & Darlene Wilson of Mesquite, NV and Roger & Adele Murdock of Beaver, UT. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mesquite Stake Center. Visitation will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. and again Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the Stake Center.

Interment will follow in the Bunkerville Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to leave a message or memory on our online guest book at virginvalleymortuary.com.
