Mr. Britton Keefe Jernigan, known to friends as “B.J.”, age 57, of Palmetto, GA, went to be home with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, Friday, January 25, 2019. Britton, an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, always saw the good in life despite his circumstances, and his positive outlook and gentle spirit were an inspiration to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, Laris and Betsy Jernigan.

He is survived by his son, Laris Britton Jernigan and his girlfriend, Sarah, of Duluth, GA; sisters, Bonnie Bregante of Douglasville, GA, Bridget Morrow and her husband, Deke, of Cedar Rapids, IA, Brenna Lype and her husband, Bob, of Ooltewah, TN; brother, Burton Ranger Jernigan of Atlanta, GA; and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to his loving aunts, Reba Driver and Sarah Davis for years of extraordinary service to Britton which enriched his life in so many ways. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 2 o’clock at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Dr. Lester Cooper officiating.

Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Those wishing may sign the online guest book at www. parrottfuneralhome.com.
