Bronston Gambill, 81, of New Lebanon and formerly of Preble County, passed away early Tuesday morning January 15, 2019. Born June 30, 1937 in West Liberty, KY, he was the son of the late Chillie and Lula (Cantrell) Gambill. Bronston was a hard working man all of his life.

A self employed entrepreneur, he drove a coal truck, owned and operated a car lot, began Gambill’s Industrial Pumping and several other businesses over the years. He was also a general contractor for many years and completed many jobs for long time good friend Dana Stamps. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife Ina Doles Gambill; son Timothy D. Gambill; sister Verde Gladys Cantrell; and brother John Arnett Cantrell.

Survived by children Garry Gambill and wife Debbie of Arkansas, Ronda McIntosh and husband Larry of Farmersville, Jack Gambill and wife Jill of Lewisburg, Rick Gambill of New Lebanon, Doug Gambill of Dayton, and Kim Gambill and companion Tony Horn of New Lebanon; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM Friday, January18, 2019 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens – 3377 US Rt. 35 – West Alexandria.
