Obituary for Brooks B. Longnecker Brooks B. Longnecker, age 78 of Powell died Sunday, September 9, 2018 at home. He retired from the State of Ohio after 33 years. Preceded in death by son, Gregory Longnecker and daughter, Cheryl Martin.

Brooks is survived by his wife, Anita Longnecker; son, Kevin (Nancy) Longnecker; grandchildren, Scott (Sara) Longnecker, Allison (Brandon) Mendenhall and Kathleen (Keil) Igoe; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Eli Longnecker and Emily Igoe; sister-in-law, Marilyn E. (John) Marsh; brothers-in-law, Larry (Jan) Stapleton and Gary Stapleton and several nieces and nephews. Member of Dublin Baptist Church. Veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 14, 2018 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy Street, Powell with Pastor J. D. Davis, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
