Obituary for Mr. Bruce Daniels Mr. Bruce Eric Daniels was born in Pitt County on May 9, 1958 to Ms. Shirley Daniels Ruffin and the late Willie “Hankman” Langley. He went to his heavenly home on October 7, 2018. Bruce was affectionately called “Slim Goody” by his friends.

Bruce received his formal education in Pitt County Public Schools. He attended C.M. Eppes High School. After desegregation he attended J.H. Rose High School.

Bruce memories will be cherished by his mother, Shirley Daniels Ruffin; one son, Greeley Eric Peterson of Arizona; four daughters, Shaunita Fogg (Jerry) of Washington, NC, Keosha Brown, Jennifer Howell (Marquell) and Jeanette Turner all of Greenville, NC; nine grandchildren, Zy’Quarria Brown, Jer’Quan Fogg, Jacquez Turner, Malik Wilkes, Camron Greenwood, Aries Brown, Ahmir Brown, Jordan Turner, Logan Turner; two maternal sisters, Iris Foust (Michael) and Regina Rogers (Antonio) both of Greenville, NC; a stepbrother, Clifford Kennedy of Greenville, NC; one nephew, Michael D. Foust; three nieces, LaShanda Foust, LaVonda Foust both of Greenville, NC and Jolisia Smith Green (Jasmine) of Kannapolis, NC; a host of other family and friends.
